Abstract

This study aims to determine (1). The process of the occurrence of social conflicts in the tradition of traditional ceremony Ma 'Baku-Baku in Uru community in Ledan Village Enrekang District. (2). To find out how the forms of social conflict in the tradition of traditional ceremony Ma 'Baku-Baku on Uru community in Ledan Village, Buntu Batu District Enrekang Regency. And (3). To find out how to prevent the occurrence of social conflict in the tradition of Ma 'Baku-Baku traditional ceremony in Uru society in Ledan Village, Buntu Batu Sub-district, Enrekang Regency. The data collection with the method of observation, interview, and documentation, while the analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that there are six processes of conflict in the tradition tradition ceremony Ma 'Baku-Baku in Uru first society that is the arrival of Islamic organizations in Uru, both technological advances, the third the existence of high education, the fourth because the tradition began to slowly abandoned, and the fifth is the effort to eliminate the tradition of traditional ceremonies Ma 'Baku-Baku and the last is the effort to maintain the tradition. Then there are four forms of social conflict that occurred in the first Uru society that is conflict between families, the two conflicts between groups, the three social conflicts, the fourth is political conflict. And in this study found four government efforts in preventing the first conflict that is, mutual respect, strengthening family relationsships, more concerned with the group than the self, and be respectful.

Abstract

This study was conducted to: socioeconomic characteristics of fishermen based (age, education level, income and number of dependents of fishermen). The research area was determined deliberately on the beach Kuri Caddi and sample withdrawal method used was simple rangdom sampling based on the society whose active as the fisherman with 30 people of the population, technique used is descriptive technical analysis.

Abstract

The research used descriptive analysis technique to describe the results of research in accordance with the data obtained in the field about the perception of geography teachers in the application of full day school in Makassar. The results of this study indicate that 1) the perception of geography teachers in the application of full day school in Makassar is quite agree with the percentage of 38.24%, 2) obstacles experienced by the geography teacher during the implementation of full day school geography teacher is quite difficult in teaching during school hours and afternoon, the geography teacher is quite exhausted with the teaching schedule until the afternoon, and facilities that support full day school implementation is not adequate, 3) the solution in overcoming the constraints experienced by the geography teacher is the geography teacher must use approaches, methods and media more interesting learning , the geography teacher must be good at managing the time between teaching and resting as well as maintaining the body condition to keep the body fit, and the government must provide adequate facilities in supporting the implementation of full day school.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) What are the socio-economic conditions of cocoa farmers in Pasapa Village 2) What are the factors that influence the income of cocoa farmers in Pasapa Village, Budong-Budong District, Central Mamuju District, West Sulawesi Province. This research is quantitative descriptive research. The population of 500 family heads determines systematically random sampling with a sample of 15% so that 75 respondents can be obtained by respondents. Data collection in this study was carried out by observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data obtained are then analyzed by descriptive analysis techniques and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS V.22. The results showed that on average cocoa farmers aged 36-45 years and the length of work as cocoa farmers an average of 15-20 years, the average cocoa farmer household has a total of 4-6 people, education of cocoa farmers in Pasapa Village is still low, where the most frequently found are: elementary school graduates 36.00%. The average income of cocoa farmers is> Rp.5,000,000 - Rp.10,000,000 per year. In order to meet primary and secondary needs, as well as to increase business capital and income, cocoa farmers have other jobs including: rice farmers, oil palm farmers, corn farmers, cattle farmers, entrepreneurs, honor teachers, contract teachers, and civil servants. Based on the research results, cocoa farmers were declared not poor The average use of capital is <Rp.500,000 - Rp.5,000,000. The average area cultivated is 25-75 acres. With the number of production most often found in a month is <50 kg with a percentage of 49.33. The average proceeds from cocoa sales are invested in the education of children of cocoa farmers. Based on the results of the research, the income of cocoa farmers is influenced by the length of work, the number of working hours each to the garden in each day, the age of cocoa, the area of land and the amount of production.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the socio-economic conditions of household Arabica Coffee planters in Langda Village. The analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis. Sampling was done randomly with a total sample of 40 people from 161 populations. The results showed that (1) Arabica Coffee Planters in Langda Village were mostly classified as elderly (45-65) years, ie 23 or 58%, besides in terms of education level, Arabica Coffee planters in Langda Village were included in the lower category Elementary School and No Elementary School with a total percentage of 52.00%. (2) 50% of Arabica Coffee Planters have 3 - 4 Household members and 75% of Arabica Coffee Planters have dependents 1 - 4 people (small category). (3) The average household income of Arabica Coffee growers in a year is Rp.17,016,000 derived from Arabica Coffee business income and income outside the Arabica Coffee business with a comparison of the average income of Rp.5,867,000 and Rp.11,149. 000. (4) There are 85% of households that can meet their minimum basic needs, while 15% of households fulfilling their minimum basic needs are not met.
